After failing to kill himself by jumping off a bridge, a man washes up on a deserted island in the middle of a river. He tries escaping, but soon accepts his fate. A reclusive young woman, who takes photos of the moon and has never left her high-rise apartment in years, spies on him and considers him her own alien.
