Police inspectors Lau Ching-hei and Yau Kin-bong are partners, but Yau drops out of the force after he discovers his pregnant girlfriend committed suicide. Lau married a billionaire’s daughter, and he asks Yau for his help by teaming up again to investigate the mysterious death of his father-in-law and butler.
