Denias is a boy from the poor small village of Aroanop on Jayawijaya Mountain in western Papua Island. His dream is to get a better education, but he must travel for days by crossing fields, mountains, and rivers to the nearest city. Denias makes it and enrolls at a school, but he is discriminated against because of his status.
