In 1880s Shanghai, there are four elegant brothels, called "Flower Houses". The plot revolves around four men who live for pleasure and the courtesans known as Crimson, Pearl, Emerald, Jasmin, and Jade, who are owned by “Aunties”, who run the brothels, until they can pay off their debts.
