The final installment of this Gamera trilogy begins with schoolgirl Ayana discovering a large egg in a cave that houses demons according to legend. The egg hatches into a small monster, which Ayana raises, and they develop a psychic bond. As the monster she names Iris grows to adulthood, Gamera takes interest in this new potential threat.
