Kaya, who is Japanese, dumps her Thai boyfriend Yim because he can't speak English and Kaya can't speak Thai. After Kaya leaves for America, Yim is determined to win Kaya's heart back so he decides to learn English quickly with the help of a personal English teacher, Ms. Pleng. Unbeknownst to Yim, Ms. Pleng is Kaya's good friend.
