Sentaro runs a small dorayaki shop frequented by locals and students. When he puts up an ad looking for a co-worker, he is approached by Tokue, a lady in her mid-seventies who always wanted to work in a dorayaki shop. Sentaro rejects her application because of her age, but he changes his mind after tasting Tokue's exquisite bean paste.
