Two disaffected unemployed teenage male slackers, both without job prospects or ambition, hang out in an industrial town in China, trying to make sense of their uncertain and aimless futures. They are struggling with their newly found individual freedom and social responsibilities when they meet a singer and dancer whose boyfriend is a local thug and loan shark.
