When Mashiro forgets his notebook, his junior high classmate Akito Takagi sees his drawings and asks him to be the manga artist for his stories. After Mashiro declines, Takagi arranges a meeting with Azuki, Mashiro's crush, and tells her they are manga artists. Excited, Azuki reveals her plans to become a voice actress, and the three agree to work together.
