The fathers of two girls in the local middle school are the policemen in charge of a local rape case. One is a stubborn legal medical expert always insisting on ironclad evidence. The other is a retired soldier, who relies on intuition and often extorts confessions through torture, and arrests a suspect he’s sure is guilty, until his daughter disappears.
