A former artist has a miserable life revolving around a wife who is obsessed with having children and a mediocre, ordinary existence. To escape, he hopes to reconnect with his first love on a vacation to Hong Kong, but his hopes are dashed when he finds himself wrapped up in a murder investigation, proving truth is often stranger than fiction.
