Yu-jeong comes from a wealthy family and is a university professor. Suicidal, she has never known happiness since 15 as a result of a sexual assault. She meets Yun-soo, a prison inmate on death row for murder who had an even more traumatic childhood. As they sharing their pain, they connect with each other and yearn for life.
