In capturing wanted criminal Zhang Yidong, Sergeant Tang Fei was involved in a gunfight and car accident that put the criminal in a coma. But a fellow officer was crippled, and he mistakenly shot dead the elder daughter of public prosecutor Gao Min, who will doggedly pursue justice. In contrast, Tang Fei is burdened by guilt.
