In the surfing town of Baler, Ford is wasting his youth away. He is named after Academy Award-winning film director Francis Ford Coppola, who filmed the classic “Apocalypse Now” in the Philippines. As another surfing season ends, Ford is forced to confront the truth about his past, including the myths surrounding his life.
