Set in Guagua, Pampanga a decade after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, Kaleldo (Summer Heat) follows the lives of Rudy, a woodcarver, and his three daughters and their relationships with the people close to them over the span of seven summers and two weddings, which bring the cycle of life to full circle.
