A family made up of a father, daughter, and son, lives nomadically on a boat in the Mekong Delta. The father burned their house down in retaliation for the infidelity of his wife, who ran away in shame. One day, the children give shelter to a prostitute who was severely beaten by the townspeople, and her presence changes their lives.
