Mitsuya Majime is an unsuccessful salesman because he's so eccentric. But his love of reading, dedication, and degree in linguistics catch the eyes of editors seeking an assistant. Their company plans to publish a new dictionary called "Daitokai" (The Great Passage). It is intended to bridge the gulf between people and the sea of words, including the definition for love.
