In the small Korean village of Dongmakgol, time appears to stand still. The villagers have no knowledge of modern technology, such as firearms, explosives, motor vehicles, and aircraft. They are also unaware of the massive war in Korea until they find a U.S. Navy pilot alive after his plane crashes nearby.
