Chagawa struggles to support his young ward Junnosuke. Unless he provides a better life, his rich father will take him away. Chagawa focuses on winning a literary award and the prize money coming with it. In the meantime, Mika, a spoiled 7-year old relative, is left to stay with the Suzukis when her father suffers business setbacks.
