Recently graduated from college, Chie becomes happily engaged. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she is diagnosed with breast cancer. Treatment should render her infertile, but she somehow becomes pregnant. Faced with the difficult choice of risking her own life or ending her yearned pregnancy, Chie adopts a traditional Japanese diet and decides to have the baby.
